3D Printing Services in British Columbia

British Columbia manufacturers have two realistic options for functional printed parts: send the file overseas and wait out customs, or work with a Canadian producer. We print on EOS industrial SLS systems at our own facility in Mississauga and ship to BC as domestic freight, so there is no border, no customs broker and no exchange rate on the invoice. Engineering, printing and finishing all happen in one building, and the people who quote your part are the people who print it.

Why BC manufacturers order from us:

Domestic freight, no customs or brokerage
Canadian engineering support, not an offshore portal
Three hours ahead, so overnight quotes are normal

BRITISH COLUMBIA 3D PRINTING AND ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING

British Columbia does not manufacture like the rest of the country. Forestry and sawmill equipment, shipbuilding and marine work out of Victoria and North Vancouver, mining equipment in the interior, aerospace suppliers around the Lower Mainland, a growing clean energy and hydrogen sector, and the film and visual effects prop shops that make Vancouver one of the busiest production centres in North America. Each of those runs into the same problem: a functional part is needed faster than machining or tooling can deliver, and often in a shape machining cannot produce at all. That is the work our industrial 3D printing services take on.

One Facility, Consistent Parts Across the Province

Everything runs on EOS industrial SLS systems and DyeMansion VaporFuse finishing in one building. Because production is not spread across subcontractors, a part ordered in Prince George matches the one ordered in Victoria, and a repeat order next year matches the first. For operators running identical machines at several sites, that repeatability is worth more than any single lead time.

Selective Laser Sintering for BC Industry

Laser sintered PA12 nylon is what most BC orders leave on. The powder bed supports every feature as it builds, so internal channels, lattices and one piece assemblies print exactly as modelled, and the finished parts are tough enough for sawmill floors, boat decks and mine sites rather than display shelves. Volumes run from a single replacement part through production batches.

Stereolithography for Props and Fine Detail

SLA cures liquid resin with UV light and produces the smoothest surfaces and sharpest detail we offer, which is exactly what Vancouver prop shops, model makers and product design teams need. Resin choice drives what the part can withstand, and our SLA materials guide explains the trade offs.

Replacement Parts and Short Runs

A lot of BC work is not a product launch, it is a machine that needs a part nobody stocks any more. Printing removes tooling from the equation entirely, so a discontinued component can be reproduced from a scan or a drawing, and short runs of a few hundred become economical. Our bridge production page covers the volumes between one off and full production.

Finishing for Damp and Demanding Environments

We machine critical features, fit threaded inserts, bead blast, dye and vapour smooth in house. For marine, food processing and washdown duty, VaporFuse smoothing seals the printed surface so it sheds water instead of holding it.

Industries We Serve in British Columbia

Forestry and sawmill equipment builders use printed guides, guards and wear components that would otherwise be machined from metal. Marine and shipbuilding teams need parts that tolerate damp environments. Aerospace suppliers need light, traceable components. Mining equipment operators need replacement parts for machines whose original tooling no longer exists. And Vancouver prop and VFX shops need one off geometry, fast, in a material that survives a shoot. The categories below map to the work we do most often.

Why a Canadian Supplier Beats an Overseas Portal

An overseas quoting portal looks cheap until the whole schedule is counted: quoting in another time zone, printing somewhere else, customs clearance, an international courier, and a currency conversion at the end. Domestic production removes every one of those steps. Your part is printed in Ontario and shipped to BC as a domestic parcel, engineering questions get answered by someone in your own country, and a revision goes straight back onto the machine instead of into a queue on the other side of the world.

Why BC Manufacturers Choose Us

Anubis 3D SLS 3D printing for low volume production parts
Domestic freight, no border

Shipped as a domestic parcel with no customs clearance, no brokerage fee and no international courier tracking to chase.

Canadian engineering support

Questions answered during your working day by the team that designs and prints the part, not a ticketing system offshore.

No tooling, no minimums

Hundreds of parts, or one replacement component, without moulds, setup charges or minimum order quantities.

Materials that handle BC conditions

PA12 nylon resists moisture and most fluids, which matters on boats, in sawmills and at mine sites.

Performance Advantages of SLS 3D Printing

Industrial SLS delivers strong, lightweight, repeatable components for forestry, marine, mining and production equipment across British Columbia.

ACROSS BRITISH COLUMBIA

3D Printing in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland

Most of our British Columbia work heads to the Lower Mainland. Vancouver alone covers three very different demands: prop and visual effects shops that need one off geometry on a shoot schedule, product companies prototyping hardware, and the marine and industrial operators around the port who need functional replacement parts. All three get printed on the same machines in Ontario and shipped west as domestic freight.

We supply manufacturers throughout the province, including Vancouver, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Delta, Abbotsford, Victoria and Nanaimo on the Island, and the interior and northern centres of Kelowna, Kamloops and Prince George.

Parts are printed at our Mississauga facility and shipped west as domestic freight. Transit varies by destination and shipment size, so we confirm the delivery date with the quote rather than promise a number that will not hold for every order. In practice, production time is the larger part of the schedule. Nationwide coverage is on our 3D printing in Canada page, and the facility itself is described on the Mississauga page.

Our facility: 4100A Sladeview Crescent Unit 4, Mississauga, Ontario L5L 5Z3, 905-581-0630.

Every BC order is printed here, at our facility in Mississauga, Ontario, then shipped west as domestic freight.

WHY CHOOSE ANUBIS3d?

F.A.Q.

Do you serve British Columbia from Ontario?

Yes. We print in Mississauga, Ontario and ship to customers across British Columbia. Everything moves as domestic freight, so there is no customs step, no cross border paperwork and no currency exchange on the invoice.

How long does shipping to BC take?

Transit depends on the destination and the size of the shipment, so we confirm the delivery date together with the quote rather than publish a number that will not hold for every order. Production time is usually the larger part of the schedule, not transit.

Which BC industries do you work with?

Forestry and sawmill equipment, shipbuilding and marine, aerospace suppliers, mining equipment, clean energy, and the film and visual effects prop shops around Vancouver.

Can you handle parts for marine or wet environments?

Yes. PA12 nylon absorbs very little moisture and resists most fluids, and VaporFuse smoothing seals the surface where a watertight or washdown ready finish is needed.

Does the time difference cause delays?

Rarely, and it often helps. We are three hours ahead in Eastern time, so a file sent at the end of a BC working day is usually reviewed and quoted before the next BC morning starts.
