3D Printing Services in Northern Canada
Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut run on equipment that is a very long way from any supplier. Mining operations, energy and utility infrastructure, air transport and community services all carry the same risk: a small failed component can stop a large operation for weeks. We print functional parts on EOS industrial SLS systems in Mississauga and ship north as domestic freight.
Why operations in the North order from us:
Domestic freight, no customs or brokerage
Spares printed on demand instead of stocked for years
Light parts, which matters when freight is by air

NORTHERN CANADA 3D PRINTING AND ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
Mining and exploration across all three territories, energy and utility infrastructure, air transport operations, and the contractors who keep remote communities supplied. Distance changes the economics completely: carrying every possible spare is impractical, and waiting on a machined replacement can mean weeks of downtime. A part that can be printed and flown out the same week is worth more than a cheaper one that arrives in a month. That is the work our industrial 3D printing services take on.
One Facility, One Set of Parameters
Everything runs on EOS industrial SLS systems and DyeMansion VaporFuse finishing in one building. Because we hold the design file rather than a shelf of stock, a component can be reprinted years later exactly as it was first supplied.

Selective Laser Sintering for Northern Canada
Laser sintered PA12 nylon is what most BC orders leave on. The powder bed supports every feature as it builds, so internal channels, lattices and one piece assemblies print exactly as modelled, and the finished parts are tough enough for sawmill floors, boat decks and mine sites rather than display shelves. Volumes run from a single replacement part through production batches.
Stereolithography for Props and Fine Detail
SLA cures liquid resin with UV light and produces the smoothest surfaces and sharpest detail we offer, which is exactly what Vancouver prop shops, model makers and product design teams need. Resin choice drives what the part can withstand, and our SLA materials guide explains the trade offs.
Replacement Parts and Short Runs
A lot of BC work is not a product launch, it is a machine that needs a part nobody stocks any more. Printing removes tooling from the equation entirely, so a discontinued component can be reproduced from a scan or a drawing, and short runs of a few hundred become economical. Our bridge production page covers the volumes between one off and full production.
Finishing for Damp and Demanding Environments
We machine critical features, fit threaded inserts, bead blast, dye and vapour smooth in house. For marine, food processing and washdown duty, VaporFuse smoothing seals the printed surface so it sheds water instead of holding it.
Industries We Serve in Northern Canada
Mining and exploration operations need replacement components for equipment nobody supports. Energy and utility crews need durable field parts. Air transport operations need light, non structural components and ground handling tooling. Where weight drives freight cost, printed nylon at a fraction of the mass of a machined metal part changes the maths.

Why a Canadian Supplier Beats an Overseas Portal
An overseas quoting portal looks cheap until the whole schedule is counted: quoting in another time zone, printing somewhere else, customs clearance, an international courier, and a currency conversion at the end. Domestic production removes every one of those steps. Your part is printed in Ontario and shipped as a domestic parcel, engineering questions get answered by someone in your own country, and a revision goes straight back onto the machine instead of into a queue on the other side of the world.
Why Operations in the North Choose Us

Domestic freight, no border
Shipped as a domestic parcel with no customs clearance, no brokerage fee and no international courier tracking to chase.
Canadian engineering support
Questions answered during your working day by the team that designs and prints the part, not a ticketing system offshore.
No tooling, no minimums
Hundreds of parts, or one replacement component, without moulds, setup charges or minimum order quantities.
Materials and logistics suited to remote sites
PA12 nylon is roughly one seventh the weight of aluminium by volume, resists moisture and most fluids, and does not corrode, which matters when freight is charged by the kilogram and a part may sit outdoors for years.
Performance Advantages of SLS 3D Printing

ACROSS NORTHERN CANADA
3D Printing for Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut
We supply operations across all three territories, from Whitehorse and Yellowknife through to remote mine sites and community infrastructure projects. Parts are printed in Ontario and shipped north as domestic freight.
We supply operations including Whitehorse, Yellowknife, Iqaluit, Hay River, Inuvik and Rankin Inlet.
Parts are printed at our Mississauga facility and shipped as domestic freight. Transit varies by destination, season and shipment size, so we confirm the delivery date with the quote rather than promise a number that will not hold for every order. Nationwide coverage is on our 3D printing in Canada page.
Our facility: 4100A Sladeview Crescent Unit 4, Mississauga, Ontario L5L 5Z3, 905-581-0630.
Every order for Northern Canada is printed here, at our facility in Mississauga, Ontario.

F.A.Q.
Do you ship to Yukon, NWT and Nunavut?
Yes. We print in Mississauga, Ontario and ship to all three territories as domestic freight, with no customs step and no currency conversion on the invoice.
How long does shipping north take?
Northern transit varies widely by destination and season, far more than anywhere else in Canada, so we confirm the delivery route and date with the quote rather than publish a figure that would be wrong most of the time.
Does printing reduce freight cost?
Usually yes. Printed nylon weighs a fraction of a machined metal equivalent, and when freight is charged by weight or flown in, that difference shows up directly on the invoice.
Which northern industries do you work with?
Mining and exploration, energy and utility infrastructure, air transport operations, and the contractors supporting remote communities.
Can you reproduce parts for equipment with no supplier?
This is a large part of what we do for remote operations. Send a drawing, a scan or the failed component and we will confirm whether it can be printed and whether nylon suits the duty.
