Anubis 3D Industrial Solutions Inc. and its divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries (“Anubis”) is committed to protecting the personally identifiable information of users of its products and services (collectively, the “Services”). To provide the Services, Anubis must collect and maintain certain personal non-public information (“Personal Information”). This Privacy Policy describes, in question-and-answer format, what Personal Information Anubis collects, how it stores the Personal Information, who has access to the Personal Information, and how Anubis protects Personal Information. Other websites may collect and treat information collected differently, so we encourage you to carefully read and review the privacy policy for each website you visit. Any links from our Service to other websites, or references to products, services or publications other than those of Anubis, do not imply the endorsement or approval of such websites, products, services or publications by Anubis.

This Privacy Policy applies to your use of the Services via computer, “smartphone” or other mobile device (collectively, “Devices”). For purposes of this Privacy Policy, the Services include all Anubis applications and related programs associated with the Services. This Privacy Policy is subject to change at any time, which Anubis may do by updating this Privacy Policy on Anubis’s Website www.anubis3D.com or sending you an e-mail at the e-mail address you use in connection with your Anubis account (“Anubis Account”). Changes are effective 24 hours after posting or e-mailing, as applicable. You can always find the most recent, updated version of this Privacy Policy on Anubis’ Website. You are encouraged to visit Anubis’ Website regularly for updates.

What Personal Information does Anubis Collect when You Use the Services?

When you open an Anubis Account, Anubis collects and stores Personal Information that may include the following: name and e-mail address; mailing address; browser type and Internet Protocol address; credit card information; a password that you create; transaction history made with purchases using the Service; mobile device type; and a personal identification number that you create (PIN). When you access your Anubis Account via a Device, or otherwise communicate with Anubis in connection with your Anubis Account, we receive information from you that may be Personal Information, which may include information regarding your Device’s hardware or operating system or other software, the time and duration of your browser session, what web pages you visited, your Internet Protocol address, and what Services you used or accessed. To prevent or reduce the risk of malware, viruses, and similar problems that may affect your Devices, Anubis also may identify software running on your Devices, but Anubis will not collect any content from this software unless authorized by this Privacy Policy, an agreement between you and Anubis, or law.

With your consent or through opt-in through permissions requested of you when you install one of our applications, Anubis receives certain tracking (geo-location) information when you access the Services via a Device, access Anubis’ Website, or use other Services. To identify physical locations near you and to appropriately enable the Services, we may gather location information through your mobile phone or device’s geolocation, GPS, or similar capabilities. Furthermore, as part of the Services, we may collect information about your location through your mobile phone or device’s Bluetooth or similar capabilities in combination with technology implemented by and with our customers. We refer to the location information collected through your mobile device’s applicable geolocation, GPS, Bluetooth or similar capabilities simply as “Location Information.” We will only gather these kinds of Location Information if you agree to share them with us by opting-in to the services (either during your initial app download, login or later) to receive the Services and by enabling these capabilities on your mobile device. Once you have opted-in to receive the Services and consented to our gathering of Location Information, the Services will continue to collect Location Information until you uninstall the application or change your application permission settings (they will gather Location Information if they are running in the background) or use your phone’s or other device’s setting to disable your mobile Device’s applicable geolocation, GPS, Bluetooth or similar capabilities for the Services. We treat Location Information as personal information.

What Personal Information does Anubis Disclose and to Whom?

Anubis cannot provide the Services unless Anubis has access to Personal Information. By opening an Anubis Account, you consent to all of the foregoing disclosure and sharing of Personal Information.

Anubis may use Personal Information to verify your identity, communicate with you regarding your Anubis Account, to investigate or prevent fraud and illegal activities, to conduct user research and surveys, and to provide you with technical notices, security alerts, and other information concerning the Services and new features or updates of the Services. Provided that you consent to participate in certain programs, the Services may include offers of loyalty programs, promotions, incentives, rewards, credits, coupons, and contests that Anubis may communicate to you. You will be provided with the details of these programs or offers either when you open your Anubis Account, or at some other time; the details will include the manner in which you communicate to Anubis your consent to participate or not participate in a program or offer.

Anubis currently does not use, share, or disclose Personal Information for direct marketing purposes by third parties that have no association with the Services. However, Anubis may change its policies with regard to sharing Personal Information with unaffiliated third parties for direct marketing purposes in the future and, if it does so, you agree that Anubis may advise you by updating this Privacy Policy as described at the beginning of these terms. Anubis may use or share with third parties non-personal information it aggregates from users of the Services, such as analytical, statistical, or demographic information that is not unique to you or identifiable as yours.

By opening an Anubis Account, you acknowledge and agree that Anubis will have access to your Personal Information. Anubis does not disclose or allow access to your Personal Information to third parties other than parties contracted by or otherwise affiliated or associated with Anubis (collectively “Anubis Contractors”) that provide products or services to Anubis in connection with the Services, which disclosure and access are limited to what is reasonably necessary or desirable to provide, maintain, and improve the functionality and content of the Services.

Anubis cannot guarantee or warrant that Anubis Contractors will not use some or all of your Personal Information for purposes other than performing a task in connection with the Services. In particular, Anubis does not and cannot control what Anubis Contractors do with your Personal Information, such as using it for direct marketing purposes. Anubis cannot guarantee or warrant that a breach of security that results in disclosure of some or all of your Personal Information will not occur at Anubis or an Anubis Contractor. Anubis cannot guaranty that your Personal Information is impervious to all breaches of security through interception, hacking, or other means.

Anubis may maintain records of your Personal Information associated with your use of the Services, even after your Anubis Account is closed, for as long as several years to comply with federal and provincial laws and regulations. Anubis may confirm some of your Personal Information with third parties, or use it to comply with governmental regulatory requirements.

How else do We Use Personal Information?

The Personal Information we collect may be used for the purposes for which it was collected, as provided in this Privacy Policy, out terms of service, or for other purposes that are disclosed to you and to which you consent.  We mainly use Personal Information to offer our Services as set out above, however, we may also use your Personal Information to:

  • investigate security breaches or cooperate with government authorities pursuant to a legal matter
  • manage our business, including to keep business records, and meet legal and regulatory requirements
  • provide customer service and to communicate with you
  • maintain, protect, improve and provide our Services, including for the development of new product and service offerings
  • notify you about changes to our Services
  • keep records of your communications with our customer support team
  • enforce and apply our terms or any agreement you have with us
  • carry out marketing purposes, such as to offer our products and services to you
  • offer you tailored products and services
  • conduct and report on certain analytics, benchmarking, and performance tracking with aggregate data
  • comply with applicable laws and regulations

We may also anonymize, aggregate or otherwise strip any Personal Information we collect of all personally identifying characteristics and may use or share that aggregated, anonymized data with third parties for any purpose we deem appropriate.

We reserve the right to transfer any Personal Information we have about you in the event that we or any part of our business merges with or is acquired by a third party, or if any such transaction is proposed.

We may also disclose your Personal Information to third parties if we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to (1) conduct investigations of possible breaches of law, (2) identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating an agreement they have with us, or (3) to protect our rights, safety or property. Lastly, we may disclose your Personal Information for any other purpose to which you consent, or which is permitted or required by law.

How can You Limit Sharing of Your Personal Information?

You may direct Anubis not to share certain Personal Information with unaffiliated third parties (excluding sharing or allowing access to your Personal Information among Anubis Contractors in providing you the Services). Anubis currently does not share or allow access to your Personal Information other than the access (1) Anubis reasonably needs to permit the communication that is reasonably necessary or desirable to provide the Services, (2) Anubis and Anubis Contractors reasonably need to provide, maintain, and improve the functionality of the Services, and (3) Anubis uses to offer loyalty programs, promotions, incentives, rewards, credits, coupons, and contests, provided that you have consented to participate in such promotions, incentives, rewards, credits, coupons, or contests. You cannot opt-out of the sharing and access described in categories (1) and (2) of the preceding sentence because that sharing and access is necessary to provide the Services. If sharing or allowing direct and indirect access to your Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy is unacceptable to you, do not use the Services.

If Anubis changes its policies to allow sharing of or access to your Personal Information for direct marketing purposes with third parties that have no association with the Services, Anubis will notify you of the change either by posting the new policy on Anubis’s Website or by sending you an e-mail at the e-mail address you use in connection with your Anubis Account. If you wish, you will be able to opt-out of this sharing and access by contacting by e-mail at info@anubis3D.com.

How does Anubis Protect the Security of Your Personal Information?

Anubis maintains reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the security of your Personal Information. These safeguards include encrypted storage of some of your Personal Information and limiting third party decryption of Personal Information to that which is reasonably desirable or appropriate for Anubis and Anubis Contractors to provide the Services. Anubis uses firewalls and other security technology to protect its network and systems from external attack, and by requiring you to enter a unique username, password and PIN to access or update your Personal Information. All users must enter their PIN when confirming changes to their Personal Information or executing transactions.

How do We Collect Information Using Technology?

In addition to the Personal Information described above, we may collect information about your use of the Services through electronic tools such as cookies. Anubis may automatically receive information from you or your Device as part of your connection to our Services. This may include network routing information (where you came from), equipment information (browser type) and date and time.

Anubis may also use cookies, embedded URLs, embedded pixels and other similar technologies to capture additional information.

The information that we or our service providers may collect through electronic means may include:

  • your domain name, the time of your visit
  • which pages of our Website you visit and what features and links you click or use
  • what advertisements you view or interact with
  • how you interact with communications we send you, such as whether you open an email we send you
  • your Internet Protocol (IP) address
  • your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
  • the Operating System (Windows, Macintosh, etc.) you use
  • the web browser (Netscape, Internet Explorer, etc.) you use
  • the identity of the website you visited immediately before coming to our Website

Anubis’ server may query your browser to see if there are “cookies” previously set by the Website. A cookie is a small piece of information sent by a web server to store on a web browser so that it can later be read back from that browser. Cookies on the Website may collect a unique identifier and user preferences. Anubis also uses cookies to collect general usage, volume, and statistical information.

Most browsers provide you with information and control over cookies. You can set your browser to alert you when a cookie is being used, and accept or reject the cookie. You can also set your browser to refuse all cookies or accept only cookies returned to the originating servers. Users can generally disable the cookie feature on their browser without affecting their ability to use the Website, except in some cases where cookies are used as an essential security feature necessary for transaction completion.

Anubis may also use embedded pixel technologies on selected pages for the purposes of identifying unique user visits to the Website, as opposed to aggregate hits, and to identify the pages viewed.

How can You Access and Update Your Personal Information?

You can access your Personal Information by logging on to Anubis’s Website www.anubis3D.com with your Device using your username, password, and PIN. It is important to keep your Personal Information current and accurate. At Anubis’ “Home” page, click on the “Sign In” button and select the information you want to update. You can contact Anubis regarding any questions that you may have regarding your privacy by clicking on the “Contact” button at the top Anubis’ “Home” page. Can I Share Information about Anubis Experience via Social Media?

Consumers can share information about their Anubis experience via their social media accounts. You acknowledge that any information that you post in this manner via your social media accounts is not Personal Information.

Do We Collect Personal Information of Children?

We do not intend to collect information from children who are under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, please do not provide us with any information.
If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child who has provided us with Personal Information, you may ask to review or delete this information.

Can We Transfer Personal Information Outside Your Country?

Some or all of the Personal Information we collect may be stored or processed outside of Canada or your jurisdiction of residence, including in the United States. Your Personal Information may be processed and stored in such other jurisdiction and the governments, courts or law enforcement or regulatory agencies of such other jurisdictions, including the United States, may be able to obtain disclosure of your Personal Information through a lawful order made where the information is located.

By providing us with Personal Information, you understand and expressly agree that we may transfer it outside of Canada or your jurisdiction of residence. If you do not agree to the transfer of your Personal information outside of Canada or your jurisdiction of residence, do not provide us with Personal Information.
