Carton extracting tool for a packaging equipment OEM

We converted the original metal tool to Nylon 12 using our design and engineering process.
Quick overview
• Lighter weight
• Added more optional air channels without impact on the price
• No minimum quantity or set up fee
• 3 days delivery
• Final price was equivalent to the machined part.
Development Information
For all 3D printed parts we must first set the boundaries where materials can be added and define the load case. The result is an organic structure representing the minimum material required to support the load. After running a part analysis we complete the design by adding any final details.
All the air channels can be integrated without warring about the machinability.
In this part we used a combination of plastic taping and inserts depending on the need.
