ROBOT EOAT

Robot End of Arm Tooling, Designed and 3D Printed in Canada

One robot can pack cases, tend machines, or palletize all day, but only if the tooling on the end of the arm fits the job. We design and 3D print robot end of arm tooling in Mississauga, Ontario, matched to your part, your robot, and your cycle time. Browse what we build below, or jump straight to a quote.

WORKS WITH YOUR ROBOT

Built for FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots, and More

Every tool we ship mounts on standard ISO 9409 flange patterns and includes the air and electrical routing your integration needs. We build robotic end of arm tooling for six axis industrial robots and collaborative robots alike, including dedicated tools and accessories for the FANUC CRX line. If your robot is unusual, our printed robot flanges adapt the mounting instead of forcing an off the shelf compromise.

WHERE IT RUNS

Robot Tooling Applications

Robot end of arm tooling earns its keep across the plant floor: palletizing and depalletizing with wide area grippers, pick and place and machine tending with dual and multi function tools, case erecting and packing with robotic carton erectors, and injection molding degating and part removal with tooling printed to match the molded part.

THE 3D PRINTING ADVANTAGE

Lighter Tooling, Bigger Payload Budget

Robot payload is consumed by the tool before the part is even attached, so every gram saved on tooling is a gram returned to your application. Printed robot end of arm tooling weighs 50 to 70 percent less than machined equivalents, consolidates dozens of components into a few printed parts, and matches contoured geometry to your product at no extra cost. The full argument is in our complete guide to end of arm tooling, and the process behind it is our industrial Selective Laser Sintering. More on how we work, from design office to print floor, lives on our EOAT manufacturer page.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Robot EOAT Questions, Answered

Which robot brands do you build EOAT for?

We build tooling for FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Universal Robots, and most other six axis robots and cobots, including a dedicated line for the FANUC CRX. Every tool mounts on standard ISO 9409 flange patterns, and our printed robot flanges adapt unusual robots without compromise.

Do you design custom tooling from our CAD?

Yes. Send your CAD files or product samples along with the robot model and cycle time target, and our engineers design the tool around your exact part. Contoured nests, integrated air channels, and multi pick heads cost nothing extra to print.

How long does robot end of arm tooling take to deliver?

Typical printed tooling ships in days rather than the weeks a machined equivalent takes. Complex multi function tools take longer to engineer, but revisions always move fast because a new iteration is a new print, not a new machining setup.

Can 3D printed robot tooling survive production?

Yes. PA12 nylon tooling has been proven over millions of cycles in production environments, with chemical resistance and a strength to weight ratio that machined aluminum cannot match at the same mass.
