A Scara cover for your FANUC SR-3iA, configured around the tubing, cables and hardware you are actually running.
Not every cell runs standard tubing and cabling. The custom version starts from our SR-3iA Scara Cover and Bellow Kit and adapts it to your application: we size the cover to fit your tubing and cables, match the air fittings, cable glands and plugs to your hardware, and can supply a low moisture material for low dew point environments.
Because the shell is printed in nylon using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), a custom geometry does not need new tooling, so the lead time stays short. Looking for an off the shelf option? See the standard kit or the version with dust filters.
Available Versions
OPTION 01
Standard
The clean room kit. A Nylon-12 shield and a translucent bellow seal the upper housing and the quill, with a single 6 mm breathing port at the top.
OPTION 02
With Dust Filters
For dusty cells. A filtered front plate plugs the top port and breathes through four 50 µm filters, so dust never reaches the greased quill.
OPTION 03
Custom
Configured to your application: cover size, air fitting, cable gland and plug sizes, and a low moisture material for low dew point environments.

Why Seal a SCARA Robot
SCARA robots in packaging, electronics and assembly cells work close to airborne particles, process debris and compressed air lines. Without protection, the vertical quill and the internal moving parts stay exposed to that contamination.
A sealed cover and bellow keep those parts clean, which supports consistent operation, extends service life and reduces downtime. Typical applications include high speed packaging lines, electronics manufacturing cells, precision assembly and particle sensitive production.
If the cell is especially dusty, the dust filter version adds a second line of defence, and a custom build handles non-standard tubing, cabling or low dew point conditions.
