The Anubis 3D Scara Cover and Bellow Kit for the FANUC SR-3iA protects the moving sections of the robot from dust, debris and environmental exposure. A Nylon-12 shield encloses the upper housing and carries three pneumatic pass-through fittings, while a translucent bellow seals the vertical actuating quill through its full stroke.
The standard kit is our clean room version and installs on the robot's existing mounting points with every fastener included. Running in a dusty cell? The same kit is available with dust filters, or as a custom build around your tubing, cables and environment.

Full Protection for the FANUC SR-3iA
The standard kit seals both the upper and lower sections of the robot, including the vertical actuating quill, so the SR-3iA keeps running cleanly in cleanroom, packaging and assembly environments.

A Nylon-12 Shield with Built-In Air Routing
The upper shield is 3D printed from Nylon-12 using Selective Laser Sintering (SLS), so it stays light while fully enclosing the upper housing. Three pneumatic pass-through fittings route air to the quill without loose tubing, and optional fittings are available for communication cables.

Seals the Quill Through Its Full Stroke
A clean, translucent bellow covers the lower quill and moves with it, extending and retracting while it keeps dust and particles away from the moving parts. The kit also includes a dedicated connection for internal negative pressure.

Why Seal a SCARA Robot
SCARA robots in packaging, electronics and assembly cells work close to airborne particles, process debris and compressed air lines. Without protection, the vertical quill and the internal moving parts stay exposed to that contamination.
A sealed cover and bellow keep those parts clean, which supports consistent operation, extends service life and reduces downtime. Typical applications include high speed packaging lines, electronics manufacturing cells, precision assembly and particle sensitive production.
If the cell is especially dusty, the dust filter version adds a second line of defence, and a custom build handles non-standard tubing, cabling or low dew point conditions.
